ABOUT ME
Myra Braun, MS, LPC CHT is an American Psychotherapist (State of Wisconsin License) and Hypnotherapist (National Guild of Hypnosis, USA) who owns her private practice in Southern Wisconsin, USA. She received her Masters of Science in Community Counseling from Concordia University. Her undergrad work includes degrees in Education, Psychology, Criminal Justice and Sociology. She is bilingual in Spanish, her native language. Myra has done further trainings nationally and internationally (United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Australia) on various approaches to the treatment of anxiety; including the benefits of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, clinical hypnosis, mindfulness, and other evidence-based treatments. Her focus is on anxiety, stress management, perfectionism, the high achiever, social anxiety, trauma recovery, relationship counseling, and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, nurturing, and non-judgmental, empowering and further facilitating growth and fulfillment. Myra works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples using a holistic approach.

We are thrilled to announce that the main practice in Janesville will move to a new location as of March 1st, 2026. There is also a new satellite location open in Stoughton every other Saturday.

NEW JANESVILLE LOCATION
The new location in Janesville is the next step toward ensuring my clients receive the best possible care. The location is in the heart of downtown with easy access to parking, the river, and plenty of local restaurants. The waiting room is warm and inviting, and another more private waiting room is available next to the main one. The mall is only open until 5 pm, but if you have an appointment after that, I will unlock the door after you text me that you have arrived.
PARKING
There is plenty of parking near the Olde Town Mall. Street parking as well as parking lots are readily available with short walking distances to your appointment.

The most common parking space is the South Main St Lot directly across from the front of the Old Towne Mall. The address is 27 S Main St., Janesville. There is a lovely mural above it, and the front of the building will be across the street.
Once you enter the building, walk towards the large window in the back, take the stair to the left of the candy machines, go to the left at the top of the stairs, and entire Suite 30. Take a seat, and I will be with you shortly.

If that parking lot is full there is another parking at the back of the building. This one has a two-hour limit for parking. You can enter the building from the back entrance pictured below.
After entering from the back, go through the doors on the left, take the stairs on the left, then take the stairs on the right, go to the left, and enter Suite 30. Take a seat, and I will be with you shortly

The new office is only a six minute drive from the new office located in the Olde Towne Mall located in downtown Janesville. Follow the directions to the right or put the new address into your GPS of choice

DIRECTIONS FROM I-90
If you are coming in from out of town, you will likely be making your way from I-90. It is only about a 10 minute drive from the interstate to the new office on Main St.

Use the directions on the right or your favorite GPS to get you from I-90 to downtown.
APPOINTMENT TYPES
If in person meetings don't work for you, I also always offer video or phone appointments for the same rate and the same hours of availability.
